Welcome to Yew and Beech Classes

Welcome to the new school year in Yew & Beech classes. As you know, we began the school year without Mrs Radwell because she was taken ill near the end of the school holidays. She is back home from hospital now regaining strength and we expect her to return later this term. Meanwhile, Mrs Fussell has stepped in to begin the year in Yew class.
Our topic for this term is Powerful Forces and includes various aspects of science and geography including the water cycle and natural forces as well as magnetism and friction.

General Information
The Beech & Yew team is made up of Mrs Radwell, Mrs Lester, Mrs Philpot and Mrs Read. Mrs Sarah Fussell joins us this year as a regular supply teacher.
PE
The children will take part in a wide variety of physical activities throughout the year, including expert tuition from Elms Coaches on Tuesday afternoons. Our PE days this term are Mondays & Tuesdays. We would like the children to bring both indoor and outdoor kits into school on Monday, leave their kits in school and then take them home on Fridays to be washed.
