Welcome back after a lovely summer break. I am really looking forward to all the exciting things we are going to do this term.
Our educational visits promise to be very exciting with lots of hands on experiences. The first trip is to the Cambridgeshire Folk Museum and the next to the Key Theatre in Peterborough. Details will be sent nearer to the date.

SCIENCE
During our first toplc, Toys, we will be thing about the materials used and their properties.
|

The children will be looking at the many books in our class and KS1 library and should practice reading aloud to improve their fluency.
The children are encouraged to change their own books from the banded book boxes in Ash classroom. They will be shown how to do this early in the term.

General Information
Outdoor PE - Fridays, don't forget your trainers!
Indoor PE - Wednesdays, don't forget your shorts!
Homework:
Everyday – Reading
Learning Logs - starting a little later this term.
Friday - Spellings will be sent home on Fridays; the children will be tested the following Friday.
Please check bookbags daily for any important letters.
We also encourage the children to bring water bottles to school as it is important that they have drinks throughout the day.
I am looking forward to meeting more of you and I'm sure my end of day 'delivery service' will soon become quicker and more efficient!
