HOMEWORKPLEASE NOTE:

 

Reading is ongoing and children should read every evening if possible. Please remember, year 5/6 children are not too old to share a book with you!

All maths at this level is heavily dependant on number facts like tables and number bonds. It is important children get regular practise to improve their speed and accuracy. Maths homework goes out around Thursday and is expected back in on Monday.

Spelling homework tasks go out on Monday and are expected back for marking on Thursday. There will be a test on the following Monday.

 

 

Learning Logs

Learning Logs are aimed at helping to develop 'creativity'. We will continue to use 'Learning Logs' to provide children with a chance to take ownership of some of their learning and to promote independence.

Please ensure you read the sheet inside the learning logs which gives fuller details.
